From arriving to build the stand to packing up and leaving – there's a BUZZ around the British Shooting Show.

It seems as though after Christmas and with the turn of the year, shooting enthusiasts, and suppliers alike are bursting to get out for a change of scenery and to get back amongst it! It's definitely like that for me and the team at Idleback.

As an exhibitor, planning for the show is more relaxed to begin with, maybe it's because you know, you and your stand will not be swimming around in mud and water, so consequently, we are more able to present our products in something that, more resembles a shop, rather than a car boot sale on a wet and cold winter's day. Shows in the summer are great but you still have to pack the kitchen sink just in case! Up to now this year, if the Game Fair hasn't been cancelled it's still been a cold washout.

The Stone Leigh Internal Exhibition Centre offers a much more professional approach in terms of venue, potentially even better than the superb setup at that evolved at Newark Showground.

It's good to see the Big named manufacturers and suppliers are out in ever increasing numbers, backing the Retailers with their presence, putting their money where their mouth is by presenting their full range of products on stands that more resemble a showroom worthy of displaying their products and more importantly, on stands which are clean and more inviting to theirs' and our, potential customers.
